On June 1, 2024, on International Children's Day, the 11th Green Marathon, arranged by Sber, took place. More than 130 thousand runners and the same number of spectators all over Russia took part in this event

The Marathon included wide range of activities: mass races for different distances, including 4.2 km for pole walking and children's races for 400, 600 and 800 meters. Contests, sports games and workshops were arranged for families, as well as recreation and entertainment areas for children.

This year the Green Marathon has put special emphasis on the importance of family values, as it was held as part of the Family Year.

This project may qualify not only as a sports event, but also as a social event. It brings families together encouraging their members to spend more time with each other, engaging in physical activities and taking part in public initiatives.

Thus, the marathon promotes strengthening of family relations and popularization of healthy lifestyle among all generations.
